This two-day course, led by Apple Professional Learning Specialists, teaches participants the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to deploy Apple devices in educational settings. Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to configure, manage, and deploy Apple devices, then work through real-world scenarios to test and reinforce your knowledge and skills.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Explain the purpose and need for a comprehensive deployment strategy
  • Identify the tools and services required to deploy Apple devices
  • Articulate the steps for optimizing a campus infrastructure
  • Facilitate user access to Apple services, assign devices, and purchase content using Apple School Manager
  • Use a mobile device management (MDM) solution to send commands and manage device restrictions
  • Support the use of Apple TV, Classroom, Schoolwork, and assessment configurations for teaching and learning
  • Design and execute a deployment solution in response to a real-world scenario
