Computer Science in Early Learning with LEGO® Education Coding Express - Panama City

A learning experience just for early childhood (PreK – K – 1st) educators! Coding Express by LEGO® Education is a creative and intuitive solution that introduces young students to early coding and critical 21st century skills, while naturally sparking their curiosity, creativity and desire to explore and learn together.

This session will build on early coding and its vocabulary, while developing problem-solving skills, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.  Participating educators will learn how to:

• Explore and expose young students to computer science.

• Incorporate creativity, inquiry and collaboration for early childhood learners.

• Use coding terminology like “loop” and “switch” through a hands-on approach that solidifies the concepts.
