Librarians can support and empower students to affect positive change in their communities, nationally, and globally through research, literature connections, maker activities, and civic engagement projects. Students need to learn how to have reasoned arguments, inside and outside the classroom. Collaborations with classroom teachers and subject area connections will be addressed. Using critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills, students, learn to become responsible member of society.
