Austin, Texas: Yesterday, Education Drive, an online magazine providing the latest in education news, named Brianna Hodges one of five administrators to watch in 2018. Hodges is the Director of Digital Learning at Stephenville ISD, southwest of Fort Worth. She has paved the way for innovation in her district by being inducted to Digital Promise’s League of Innovative Schools and by being an advisor for Future Ready Schools’ Instructional Coaches strand.
TCEA was proud to award Hodges the 2017 Educator Award for Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year. The Educator Awards and Scholarships are given to educators each year who have made incredible contributions in the integration of technology in schools. The 2018 winners of the awards will be announced in February.
Lori Gracey, the Executive Director of TCEA, offered her personal congratulations to Hodges for the recognition in Education Drive, saying: “Brianna Hodges is a true exemplar of a TCEA member and what one can accomplish when fully focused on innovation and learning without limits. She is certainly not only an educator to watch in 2018, but for many years to come.”
