TCEA Announces Lydia Croupe as Area 10 Director

Austin, Texas: TCEA is pleased to announce the appointment of Lydia Croupe as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors. She will fill the position of Area 10 Director.
As a member of the board, she joins 25 other professional educators who steer TCEA in accordance with the requirements of the organization’s members and the day-to-day realities that educators face. These volunteer leaders are active advocates for technology, contributing their time and expertise to ensure members have the support they need to be successful.
Lydia is currently in her 17th year in education, including 11 years teaching high school ELAR. She is currently an iTeam Lead in Instructional Technology for Richardson ISD. Her work supports eight schools in collaboration with the Professional Learning Department, Academic Facilitators, and Teaching & Learning ELAR specialists. She is a mom of two boys (6th and 3rd grades), loves any and all fandoms, hoards books (including comic books) in hopes of finding time to read, and lives for Dallas Stars hockey.
She is a G Suite for Education Certified Trainer, Flipgrid Student Voice Ambassador, Seesaw Certified Teacher, Wakelet Ambassador, Genial.ly Ambassador, Apple Teacher, and TCEA CAMP-SIG Vice President.
