AUSTIN, Texas: TCEA is pleased to announce a Silver Partnership with the Modern Classrooms Project (MCP), a nonprofit organization leading a movement of educators in implementing a blended, self-paced, mastery-based instructional model that is adaptable to all classrooms. The model fosters human connection, authentic learning, and social-emotional growth. Created by educators, the model is structured in an easy-to-understand format that any teacher can implement in their classroom.

In its fifth year, MCP has already empowered over 53,000 teachers (2,500+ in Texas) in 165 countries to differentiate instruction. Educators can start to experience the model via MCP’s Free Online Course. Districts can partner with MCP to empower their teachers with the Virtual Mentorship Program and get strategic implementation support to manage expansion. In a survey of thousands of teachers using the Modern Classrooms Project approach, 85% reported enjoying teaching more, 94% said they plan to continue with Modern Classroom techniques for the rest of their career, and 85% said they are more optimistic outlook about education’s future. School leaders can learn more by contacting MCP at modernclassrooms.org/partnerships.

“TCEA is so pleased to partner with Modern Classrooms Project,” said Jeannine Freeman, TCEA’s Partnerships and Events Manager. “Modern Classroom Project is all about equipping educators with a model that uses technology and best practices to meet the needs of each and every student, and at TCEA, we’ve got a vision of limitless learning. It’s a great match.”
