Dr. Lydia Croupe named TCEA Membership and Records Chair (2026-2028)

Austin, Texas: TCEA is proud to announce that Dr. Lydia Croupe will serve on the organization’s Board of Directors for a two-year term in the role of Membership and Records Chair. Dr. Croupe officially took office on April 1, 2026, and began performing the duties of Membership and Records Chair at the Board’s first meeting of the new year on April 24.

Dr. Lydia Croupe is an experienced educational leader with over two decades in public education. She currently serves as the Professional Learning Coordinator for Irving Independent School District. Dr. Croupe holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, where her research focused on the necessary skills for successful online teaching. In addition to serving on the TCEA Board of Directors, Dr. Croupe is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and Innovator. Her work has been featured on TCEA’s TechNotes blog, and she is a frequent presenter at state and national education conferences.

“Joining the executive committee will help me grow my leadership skills while continuing to represent TCEA and its members. I’m looking forward to being a part in many of the exciting things happening in the organization,” said Dr. Croupe.
