The Board of Directors
TCEA’s Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that TCEA is aligned with its mission and vision through establishing policies for governance. Board members volunteer their time to ensure TCEA is able to support educators around the world in achieving learning without limits. The needs of the TCEA membership are the board’s priority.
The Executive Committee
Five directors are elected to the executive committee of TCEA’s Board of Directors. Executive committee candidates must meet all the requirements for being a board member and have served as a voting member of the board of directors for the two full years prior to the election year, so they must have completed three full years on the board of directors prior to taking office.

Any regular TCEA member in good standing who is a teacher, administrator, or other employee of an educational entity is eligible to be a board member. TCEA Board Members are elected by TCEA members in a fall election each year.
