Advocating for Learning without Limits

Advocacy means speaking up, and TCEA is advocating for students and educators alike to break down the barriers to learning. Whether at the Capitol, State Board of Education (SBOE), or anywhere education laws and funding are decided, TCEA is working to focus energy and resources on supporting education.

TCEA’s Legislative Priorities

Part of removing barriers to learning is identifying them. And TCEA does just that. But we take it a step further to make recommendations and work with legislators to shape policy. We want to see technology leveraged for learning. And we want all educators and students to have equitable access to the devices, internet, and learning opportunities they need. Take a look at TCEA’s legislative priorities to learn how TCEA is currently advocating for educators.

Advocacy Guide and Toolkits

Citizen participation and reaching out to your legislators is a big part of advocating for what you believe in. So we’ve created a guide to help you know how to best contact your local representatives and government officials as well as some tools to make your communications as effective as possible.
