The purpose of this course is to explore research-based strategies and engaging digital tools you can use with students in a variety of learning situations. In this course, you will explore differentiated and effective practices and procedures to support mathematical instruction for sixth through eighth-grade students. Concepts such as differentiation, student-centered math classroom, Webb’s Depth of Knowledge, are among the topics addressed.
This online, self-paced course offers engaging instructional activities that include digital tools you can use with students in a variety of learning situations. Specific strategies are shared as to how to best provide feedback to young mathematicians.

Effective Math: 6-8 is a self-paced, online program. Participants can begin anytime and go at their own speed throughout the program.
