Webinar: TCEA Librarian Community - Creating Confident and Compliant Classroom Libraries

As legislation and local policies evolve, educators are navigating new expectations for the books available in their classrooms. Join Alexandra Cornejo, Lead Librarian at Harlingen CISD, for a session will provide practical guidance for building and maintaining a classroom library that supports literacy, student engagement, and district compliance. Participants will learn how to evaluate titles, inventory their classroom collections, and understand current requirements without losing sight of the importance of access and choice. Librarians will walk away with strategies to provide strong initial support to teachers and empower them with the skills and tools needed to confidently maintain their own classroom libraries.
