STEAM Region 19, TCEA, STAT, EPISD, AISD, Clint ISD, and Region 19 ESC are proud to announce the 2023 miniCAST El Paso conference. miniCAST is an all-day conference featuring keynote speakers, an exhibit hall, workshops and more! miniCAST 2023 is designed to replicate the feel of larger, out-of-town education conferences, all mashed up into a single day, featuring over 60 presentations, 40 exhibitors, free lunch and free memberships in TCEA and STAT. The focus of this year’s event is STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) resources that are available to teachers and students throughout our own El Paso/West Texas/Southern NM area. miniCAST is the largest professional development opportunity for teachers in the far West Texas and Southern New Mexico area.

Join us for this year’s Texas youth Robotics Alliance contest, featuring the Hi, Bye, Pizza Pie! game set! The tournament kicks off on Saturday, October 21st from 8-2:30 pm at SSMS in Sulphur Springs.

The scoop:
– 2 divisions, intermediate and advanced.
– Intermediate teams can be made of any students 4th-8th grade.
– Advanced teams can be made of any students 6th-12th grade.

There should be room for 32 teams of each Intermediate and Advanced teams to register.
We will cap registration at 4 teams of each division, per school.
As the tournament date moves closer, if space allows, then we may be able to take additional teams from schools.

Registration is $50 per team, and you will receive an invoice within 1-3 business days of finishing your team registration. POs or checks will be accepted made out to SSMS Robotics.
