Jacki has been an involved member of TCEA and a TCEA Convention & Exposition attendee since 2013. Additionally, she was a presenter at TCEA for six years. She has presented at various TCEA Area 12 events and at TCEA’s System Administrator and Technical Support Conference.
Jacki earned a bachelor’s degree in history, and she is currently certified in history and social studies for grades 8-12. Jacki is also a certified Google trainer and educator (levels 1 and 2) and has completed Flipped Learning Global training.
Jacki previously served as a high school history teacher and later as a technology specialist in Temple ISD, where she collaborated with district-wide teams to integrate technology and advocated for technology in education to state legislators on the Education Committee. In her experiences, Jacki has designed a strategic training system for faculty and students, launched a blended learning program in partnership with Raise Your Hand Texas, led a 1:1 technology device initiative, and founded a student-led technology program.
